The Coaches

Scott has bee practicing Jiu jitsu  since 2010 and has earned a black belt under the tutelage of Head Coach Louis Ho from 10th Planet Montreal.   He has also trained at HQ in downtown LA with Master Eddie Bravo the founder and creator of the 10th Planet brand,  some of his biggest influences in the sport of grappling are Corey Guitard of 10th Planet Calgary and Vagner Rocha.  Silver medalist at worlds IBJJF in 2021 and active competitor at some of the highest levels of grappling on the local and international levels.

Francis St Amour is a cofounder of 10th Planet West Island, as well as 10th Planet Rive Sud. He started training in 2013 and is now one of the strongest competitors in the region. Being one of the most active competitor within our local area, the number of wins he has under his belt are too numerous to count.  He's been competing for almost as long as he's been training and teaching since 2017.  He has a deep understanding of fundamentals as well as being well versed in the new meta.

At 10th Planet Purple belt under Scott Nagy,  Roger Latreille has been training jiu jitsu for  many years.  He has developed his skills through hard work in the gym and actively competing in the local competitions.  His knowledge in leg locks is among some of the best in our school and his love for teaching will be very apparent in his classes.

Luca has been training jiu jitsu since 2019. While that may not sound like a long time, Luca has already become one of the top young prospects internationaly. Luca began training full time as a white belt, and his love for all things jiujitsu is clear the moment you meet him on the mats. He enjoys training, studying, teaching, and competing, and excels in all of those areas. He credits jiu jitsu with providing for him a creative outlet with which he can express himself, and for helping him grow alongside his friends as an athlete, teammate, and as an individual. His passion for teaching is strong and he especially loves to work on advancements in the meta game. Luca has has collected first place finishes at high profile tournaments such as Finishers Sub Only and the Ontario Open, and he has competed at the IBJJF World Championships and at the ADCC Trials, putting together impressive performances at both events.
